Dr. Ashwin Ram (PhD Yale ’89)
Dr. Ram is an Associate Professor and Director of the Cognitive Computing Lab at Georgia Tech. He has an international reputation in artificial intelligence and cognitive science, and has authored 2 books and over 100 paper in his field. He is the lead founder and CEO of Enkia Corporation, co-found of Ardext Technologies (both ATDC companies), and co-founder and CTO of a VentureLab company Inquus, for all of which he helped write the business plan and raise funding. He has 24 years of experience in cognitive computing.
Anushree Venkatesh (MS GT '09)
Anushree graduated with a MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. She has the experience of working in an agile development environment for a startup as well as in an iterative development environment at Infosys Technologies and brings together learning from both experiences. She has keen business sense and likes to interact with People. Her technological expertise lies in the area of Natural Language Processing, Web 2.0 and 3.0 technologies and Machine Learning.
Saurav Sahay (PhD GT '10)
Saurav is a 5th year PhD student in Computer Science program at the College of Computing, Georgia Tech. He is expected to graduate in May 2010 with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. He has worked on health informatics products and IBM Research Labs and was a finalist in the challenging world wide IBM PhD Fellowship competition. He is an expert in Medical Informatics, Text Analysis, Case Based Reasoning, Machine Learning and Semantic Web systems.
